Some personal information

About me

When I came to Hamburg first, I was still very young and at that time not particularly interested in the city and its history. Quiet a number of years later, after I had finished school and vocational training, I was on my way to Africa. I spent the Sixties and seventies together with my family (meanwhile we were five ) in Nigeria.

Many years have past by and today Hamburg is my favourite town.

My leisure time I spend with my hobbies, such as reading (amongst others, African authors, narrations, biographies, novels)

I am collecting owls of all kinds and sizes as well as carefully chosen poems,

and I love going for a stroll through the city as well as I enjoy going on an outing to the woods or to the river Elbe.

Music, which I hear with preference at present is: Mozart - Shirley Bassey - Rod Stewart - Dorothee Becker - Bryan Adams - Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald

I love giraffes, zebras, elephants, domestic cats and of course owls.
